Middle mouse button really hard to click. Fixable?

I am maining a Razer Viper Mini.

 

I like most things about it, I don't like how there's only buttons on the right side because I am a lefty.

 

But most of all, recently it's been really hard to click the mouse wheel. I have to press in really hard, and sometimes it clicks twice and say, opens two tabs.

 

Is this something I can fix just by cleaning? I have WD40 and Isopropyl Alcohol and canned air

Is it consistently hard? Because hard to click and double click usually means switch needs replacing.

Are you for real? Yeah, it is consistently hard.

 

This mouse is 6 months, wow.

Dont think so, switch quality is bit of a luck of the draw sort of thing. If its under warranty, I would go with that route first. Sounds like yours is also a lemon.

I got away from Razer. I've had good luck with some of their products and horrible luck with others. My fiancee had absolutely dismal luck with anything from them, but she's also a little bit harder on mice overall. I tend to be harder on them all in one go. 

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

The mouse wheel is meant to be harder to push, so that it isn't done readily & accidentally; that said, if it's "impossible" to click, then yes:, it may need cleaning out - I'd avoid using WD40 as it's mildly corrosive.

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

 

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!
