CPU Color

I have a cpu color by cooler master and I do not know how to change the rgb color. It didnt not come with any controller. I also cant find the software to download

If it's argb, then the cooler will have a little 3 pin plug you have to plug into your motherboard.

I do not know the name it is from vrla tech apollo pc.

Nevermind it is DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX GT BK, CPU Air Cooler, SYNC RGB Fan and RGB Black Top Cover, Cable or Motherboard Control Supported, 4 Heatpipes, 120mm RGB Fan, Universal Socket Solution

Okay, that cooler appears to be regular RGB rather than ARGB.

It should come with a controller that you can use to control the lighting, or you can plug the 4 pin plug directly into the 12v RGB header on your mobo, and control it through the lighting software of your motherboard brand (Asus aura sync, MSI mystic light, etc)

Hmm did you buy it used?

It should come with a controller that is powered by sata.

If new, double check your packaging.

 

If you still can't find it, then locate a 4 pin 12v RGB header on your motherboard and plug the 4 pin female connector into it.

As @Tech87 mentioned, the Gammaxx GT models should come with an inline RGB controller; unless you have the GTE model that does not come with a controller. You would need to wire it to the 4pin RGB header on your motherboard (you can also do this with the GT model). I read the name of this thread and got confused, thank god someone isn't trying to color their CPU, I would've been disappointed 

 

What would that even look like? A spray-painted IHS? That's gotta be bad for thermal conductivity
