5700XT & Resizable Bar

So I recently decided to try out resizable bar to see what it was like and any game that runs on DX12 seems to crash alot now, discord also crashes a few times a day and I blue screen every now and then.

 

Im running the latest non beta bios, windows and graphics drivers so not sure whats going on. Is the 5700XT still not supported or am I doing something wrong?

 

My CPU is the Ryzen 5 3600XT

GPU is 5700XT Sapphire

Motherboard is MSI B550-A Pro

Didnt fix my issue sadly and didnt have the infinite bug in the performance tab either so I guess ill just leave it off for now. Thanks anyways!

I wouldn’t get too excited about resizable bar - I did not notice any improvement with my 6800 XT and according to benchmarks it’s maybe a few FPS extra in some games at the most.

Does your mobo support SAM with the latest BIOS? I'm using a beta BIOS for my GB X570 mobo and SAM works as soon as I'd set it up properly in BIOS (kinda fuzzy as to what I'd done to enable SAM as it's been months now and it was just that one time). As long as your mobo maker has the BIOS that supports SAM, you should be able to enable it.

 

I don't have an MSI mobo, so I dunno if they'd released a BIOS for SAM support (prefer ASRock and Gigabyte) but MSI should have a BIOS (maybe beta though) for SAM support for your mobo, if they don't, then you'll just have to wait. SAM makes little difference in framerate for most games, though it does shine in a game or two, so you're not missing much. Just wait for MSI to have a BIOS update for your mobo.
