I didn't see good alternatives to the C650, so I think it's a solid choice given what you have and the market situation is like there.

I currently have an Antec HCG-520w Bronze, I have this PSU since my first build with an HD 7850 in it. Couple of months ago I upgraded from an RX 470 to an RX 5700, all of this running a Ryzen 5 2600. And now this last month I upgraded to a Ryzen 7 3700x.

My PSU has been marching on strongand haven't experienced any issues I think but I'm afraid that it hasn't got much left and feel like I'm stressing it pretty bad with these components.

I've got an NZXT C650M eyed on to upgrade, should I do it?

if youre planning on upgrading to an even power hungrier gpu, then sure, go ahead and upgrade

but if not then there's really no need

(i used to run a 5700xt and an rx 570 with a 550w so u should be fine)

gaming system: Intel core I9 12900ks / biostar Z690A valkyrie / 4x8gb corsair Vengeance @3333Mhz ram / RX 7900XTX pulse gpu / Thermalright peerless assassin 140 /Coolermaster Qube 500 case / Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 12 1500w power supply

laptop: Dell xps 9510, 3.5k OLED, i7 11800h, rtx 3050 ti, 2x16gb DDR4 @ 3200Mhz, 1TB main drive, 2TB add in ssd

Yeah thing is, with the ongoing GPU shortage I don't think it's gonna happen, plus I just got this GPU.

I'm surprised no one brought the fact that your PSU is a really old budget PSU. I'd replace it. Is there any good online computer store from Chile that you can link?

Yeah that's the thing, it was a good unit but it's getting old.

If you browse this page you'll find all the power supplies being sold in Chile (it's basically PCpartpicker), it has filters for brand, certification and more.

My current choice is the NZXT C650 which is 100k Chilean pesos.

NZXT C 650 is a good pick, maybe save some money and go for Corsair CX or Bitfenix Formula Gold tho, you don't need 650W for RX5700 XT.

Both are basically the same price and not modular, plus as stupid as it sounds I like the look of the NZXT unit, even tho I probably won't look at it ever again after putting it in lol.

I'm more concerned about the age of my actual unit plus some sort of future proofing/wiggle room for upgrades
