Get cheaper RAM and maybe a WD Black instead of the blue

you might also look into getting maybe a gold rated power supply, depending on the cost though

Linux "nerd".  If I helped you please like my post and maybe add me as a friend :)  ^_^!

What's the system being used for?

What about the motherboard?

In the future, use permalinks instead of saved parts list since saved lists can be broken if you ever remove them.

Better: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3jS4B

Move rear fan to front for intake. Arctic F12 PWM CO for rear exhaust.

people what about this mother board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157378

and ssd is so needed ?

I mean it is a good motherboard (i prefer ASUS board more though) if it is the one you can get go for it, as for the ssd it is nor necessary, if you have the money to get one is a nice thing to have but a 7200rpm hdd is fast enough.

Main PC:

ASUS F1A55-M LX, AMD A6-3500, (2x2)gb Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 1600mhz, Seagate Barracuda 500gb 7200rpm,
