What should i upgrade?

Budget (including currency): 300 dollar

Country: Belgium

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, browsing..

Other details (Intel core i5 9400F, GTX 1060 6GB, 16GB RAM, RM650X PSU. currently playing at 1080P (75Hz) 😞

What should i upgrade to perform better?

Like my friends sayed i should get a monitor with 144Hz, but i don't think my GPU can handle 144Hz..

So whats the best option here to upgrade? 🙂

Your gpu can run 144hz monitor.

No need to upgrade now, maybe end of year.

I've read on google it can't run at 144Hz like for example on Medium/High settings..

I have the INNO3D NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5X Gaming OC Edition

Can it really run 144Hz?

Yes it can run 144hz monitor.

But you can't get 144fps in games.

Do you know how expensive a gpu right now?

Yeah if you want to, but cpu upgrade won't do much with that gpu in games. Extra 5-10fps at most.

1060 6gb can run 1080p games around 60-80fps, depending on the quality.

Relax, there are many people have worse situation than you, without a gpu to buy.

You should cherish it for now.

Your build sounds fine. What's wrong with your current performances? What are you trying to achieve? If your friends hadn't said anything about a 144Hz monitor, would you even consider an upgrade?
