new gpu or cpu

getting a system with a gtx 770 and 4770k i have like 150-300$ USD i can use to upgrade (150 if i buy a second monitor) i might be able to save up even more later. I will use it for content creation, so should i upgrade the cpu or gpu?

Well the CPU is the only real thing you can upgrade ATM, although overall I think a GPU upgrade would be better

Agree with @Downkey

shoulkd upgrade your gpu. i7 4770k is still decent and better when overclocked.

also with a new gpu you want atleast somewhat decent psu depending on the gpu that you choose. Gpus are pretty hard to get right now.

1660 super,  6700XT, 3060 new would make sense. 5600XT, 5700/5700XT, 2060, 2070, 2060 super used could be an option if things were normal. but they are not. so rx 580 is the best you can get used with that budget pretty much.
