Hey Y’all,

This is kinda tech related, kinda not, but I’m looking for a new gaming chair for my setup, but most are really expensive and/or expensive. I was wondering what are your favorites that are comfortable, look good, and don’t make my wallet cry. Bonus points if they are white and black, because that is the type of chair I’m looking for to match my setup. Thanks!

If you're going to say something is too expensive, then you should really include a budget so people know what you're willing to pay.

Personally I'd go with something like the Autonomous AI ErgoChair Pro+. They come in a white/black/grey combo.

Mainly for aesthetics

Never, ever buy something that you're going to plant your butt in for hours on end 'for the aesthetics'.  Your butt, spine and neck don't care if 'Your friends think it makes you look cool'.

This is my 'gaming chair'.  It's a Wit Task Chair, it looks like an unremarkable mesh chair, but I spent many 8-12hrs in an office sitting in it.  It costs around USD$400+ new for the basic black one (Probably less if you're ordering like 100 for an office at once), it has a 5-12 year warranty depending on the part and that warranty is entirely transferable.  I bought two for CAD$125 each when that company went under and they had to sell everything off.  Does this chair look 'cool'?  No but I find it very comfortable.  A piece broke on one and when I called support, they didn't care who currently owned the chair, they just wanted the number off the bottom of it.  They not only would send me the replacement part for free but even offered to send a guy to my home to install the part for me.

That's a good chair.

And comfortable.  Having worked in an office where I'd sit in it 8-12hrs a day gave me a pretty good test run to see if I found it comfortable fore more than a quick sit down like you might do with a demo model in a store.

Yeah, too many look at gaming chairs and think they look 'sick'.  There a status symbol drive there, but you're gonna sit in so much, your butt should think it's cool, not your friends.

Do yourself a favor, do NOT get a gaming chair. Get yourself a proper ergonomic chair. Gaming chairs are fully gimmick and have little to no real support long term and do more harm than good long term.

Alright, that’s what people have been saying. Also, I considered posting in peripherals, yet I thought that category was for just mice and keyboards so...
