I don't know for sure, but thinking about it, for future reference at will typically specify a time, distance, or location.

For is better used here, but arguably you could use it interchangeably in this situation and have it interpreted the same.

English is weird because of all it's rules and exceptions.

Like others stated, it's for.

Good luck!

I find English pretty easy to learn, even Spanish (my native language) is more complex.

As a german, i have a grin on my face. :D

The other way round is pretty easy though. :P

I guess everybody, who is on the internet for at least 4 hours a day, can identify with, that you start to stutter in conversations in your own language, because the only way, to express what you are trying to say, that comes to your head, is in english. :D And you're trying to quickly translate it into your native language to not make a complete fool out of yourself and give the sentence a straight meaning. xD

who cares...

German has so many rules and cases that you need to memorize. Writing it isn't that hard, but you can make so many mistakes to make yourself sound like an idiot when talking lol. One wrong word or article or gender, and Germans will look at you like you're crazy :D

So true! :D A friend of mine had an exchange student over for a few weeks and his english was pretty good, he had relatives in germany, but he was mixing an matching articles and cases all over the place. :D Some of the most funny things he said remained as a insider joke between me and my friend. :P

Haha I only know like two words, but my Dad is fluent in the language.

Most of us aren't exactly fluent in English either, so don't worry too much. I had to sell a vacuum cleaner to an English speaking lady once. That was quite the challenge.

If you want to learn German, then it's best to learn the articles and gender in combination with any new vocab. For example, don't just try to memorize the word Stuhl (chair), but instead learn it as "der Stuhl, masculin". That's what we were told to do, when I started studying Latin. That's also pretty much how we learned German ourselves. You know, from listening to our parents.

I don't really play many games for gameplay anymore honestly. I play most games just for the graphics.
