Cant remember this FPS game from the 2000s?

Trying to remember this game

 

It was from the late 90s, early 2000s

 

You played a solider and could walk around a ship, and one of your colleagues was kinda like Q from James bond, he would give you upgrades and stuff

 

One of the missions is that you landed on a planet and it was like a forest/wooded area and had to complete a mission, and at the end of the mission, you had to wait for your ship to pick you up, and you were getting attacked by bad guys.

The guy from Deus Ex, with the glasses is that kind of guy, ive only played Deus Ex a bit, do you ever go into a wood/forest and go up into space onto a ship?

While waiting for the pick-up there would be waves of enemies to kill, and you couldn't leave the area because of force fields, you got back on the ship and saw "Q" he gave you a report of the mission

At first  thought metal gear solid but then the addition of space ruined that idea

Yes, it was Unreal 2 I just looked it up on youtube and found the level i remembered..Thank you soo much, been trying to remember that for ages
