Recent x570 motherboards

I am lucky to snag a AMD 5950x at retail price and so now I am trying to find a good motherboard to go with it. The pickings are slim. Most motherboards I see for the x570 are late 2019 and early 2020 boards and are way over priced. Has any of the mobo manufactures released any new designs for 2021? Money is no object but I would feel better buying something at MSRP instead of mark up and scalper rate.

Asus is the only one I know of that has made a Ryzen 5000 series board. I don't know what the MSRP is because I don't think I have ever seen it at MSRP lol, but it does pop up in stock from time to time.

Is there some sort of feature that only exists in 2021 and not 2020 that you needed.

I am looking at the strix x570-I or strix b550i right now. I know a guy rocking a strix b450i and he loves it. Does great with mems he said. My kids will get my b550-f I guess. Love that board too but need another pc and I have a brand new matx case that I bought by mistake 😁

 

I haven’t pulled the trigger yet because I am a chicken. And it’s right on the edge of what I want to spend.
