Faulty CPU… Maybe?

Fluffles2751

I built my GF a pc recently. She only uses it to play Fortnite. The problem is cpu temps are crazy. The game will be fine for a few minutes then cpu temps get crazy then the performance drops. The only way to keep the game running at 60fps at this point is to drop all graphics settings to rock bottom. I bought a new AIO cooler from cooler master but it still has the issue of temp spikes and performance drops. Any ideas on what to do? Maybe it’s a faulty cpu?  Here is the parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kYJDHz

Is your cooler exhausting or intaking? 120mm aio is a waste in most cases
