RAM Compatibility

I'm currently running a TridentZ RGB 1x8gb 3200mhz CL14
I've got a good offer on a 1x16gb module. Can I run them together?
Also, Can I use same spec ram from different manufacturer?

your 1x8 cl14 3200mhz stick will likely work with the 1x16 stick. however, i cannot say whether they will run at the same speeds or full potential, even if it is the same type. ram is weird.
