Help with audio setup on my room

Zyre

I would like to request some help on how I can tackle my audio setup on my room, as I currently am running into the problem of being unable to connect everything.

At the moment I have the following devices on my room:

  • Playstation 4 Pro
  • Nintendo Switch
  • PC
  • 2x LG 27GL850
  • Schiit Magni 3 and Schiit Modi 3

Both LG 27GL850 monitors are connected to my PC using Displayport and HDMI. The schiit Magni 3 (AMP) and Modi 3 (DAC) are connected with a Toslink optical into the back of my PC. My Playstation 4 Pro is connected with a HDMI cable into the back of one of the LG 27GL850. When I want to play on my Playstation 4 Pro, I need to unplug my PC from my Schiit setup and connect the Playstation 4 Pro using Toslink optical into the Schiit setup as there is only 1 port.

My Nintendo Switch is connected with HDMI into the back of my monitor, but have no way to get any audio. This same issue will happen when I were to buy a Playstation 5, which ditched optical.

How exactly can I connect all my devices together and switch between then while getting the signal on my monitor? I think this would require an AV receiver into which I can connect all devices and then a cable to my monitor. Would this work when my monitor is 144HZ and gsync/freesync?

Would something like this work?

The lg850 I believe has a 3.5 mm output. What would recommend is buying a Rca switcher which feeds the magni. And a 3.5mm to Rca can be plugged from the monitor out into the switcher and into the magni while plugging in a normal Rca cable from the modi into the switcher. https://www.amazon.com/CIMPLE-CO-Selector-Composite-Switcher/dp/B07C15XGQN/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=Rca+Switcher&qid=1621194102&sr=8-4
