I need a new cpu

I have a toshiba satellite a135-s4527 and it is running the pentium dual core t2080 2gb ram I want to upgrade the CPU does anyone know the maximum cpu I can install

That's a socket M chip, and that socket is 15yrs old.

I would highly recommend against updating and if you can scratch up enough for a budget system, get yourself one of those.

 

With the amount of time and money you would spend to update the CPU, it just wouldn't be worth it imo.

 

However, if you're dead set on the idea, the best cpu for that socket appears to be the Core 2 Duo T7600

Given how old that System is, you will better off building a budget Rig. A Ryzen 3200G based one will suit your needs.

thanks I'm already have a good rig it's a hackintosh but this is my first laptop and I want to put some life back into it
