Which card ?

Go to solution Solved by Citizen Carnage,

Thanks for the input I think I will go for the R9 290.

:)

Asus R9 280X DirectCU II TOP V2 Super Overclocked 3GB DDR5

or

Gigabyte GV-R929OC-4GD Overclocked R9 290 4GB DDR5

or

Asus GTX 770 DirectCU II Overclocked 2GB GDDR5

The GTX 770 and R9 280X are same price but I can get the R9 290 refurbished for the same price as well....

What are your views on Asus vs Gigabyte as well ?

If you're willing to push your budget, go for the 290.

ASUS' DirectCU II coolers are supposed to be top of the line and quiet, from what I've read so far. Google your potential selection and compare the results.

The 290 is the best in performance, id go for that as there is warrenty as well, if you find that risky then go for the 770 but stay away from asus because their customer service is very shady, if you have a problem with your card then expect no help or over a month for you to be back up and running, for comparison evga and gigabyte can do the same in less then a week.

Good choice! :)  The WF3 cooler on it would make it run at very acceptable temps even under load.....
