AMD FX 4130 problem

I have the GA-78MLMT-S2 mobo with the AMD FX 4130 processor. When I first built my computer it was clocked at 2.8ghz. What can I do to fix this problem? The cpu is bottle necking in every game I play with the MSI twin froz 7850.

Yea I saw a guy on reddit with the same issue a few months back and that was the problem as he was using FX4170 + same board.

Also 4130 is Zambezi and 83xx is Vishera. Don't know how much of a difference that makes though. The 4350 is Vishera too and it's a 125watt cpu. Maybe the lower bins are more power hungry because of lower quality silicon.

The clock and voltage is aggressive on those chips which results in a higher tdp.

Bulldozer used more power/clock/voltage to begin with, and as said above the voltage is aggressive.

 

8350s will consume more power maxed out but typical load is about the same.
