New drive issues

So I upgraded my ssd to an m.2 and for whatever reason I decided to just install windows onto the m.2 and transfer over everything manually.  I have no realized that it would most likely be easier to just use a program to copy everything over so I don't mess any thing up.  However in drive manager I now have no option to delete the volume,

1)My short amount of research I have done lead me to these two forums this and that.  Would this be the easy way going about it?

2)  Or for example can I just create a new partition on the m.2 copy everything over and then delete the "old" partition?"

3)  Or would it be safe to just change which drive has the page file like so(z is the m.2 for reference) .
