possible cpu to gpu card?

i dont know where to put this but can you turn off cpu functions on an igpu and put it on an external card

There's literally no reason to do that but i's also not possible.

I've never heard of such a thing. But why would you even want to do this in the first place?

You can technically make your cpu do graphics instructions but there is no reason for you to ever do that.

Is it possible, sure! I don't see the purpose if your trying to get a graphics card due to the current graphics card shortage.

You could make a CPU do GPU tasks, but it would perform much worse (probably worse than iGPU) because of how CPUs and GPUs are designed. Maybe this will explain it in a cooler way:

Ya I have tried to bypass limitations like this before with weird adapters. Just don't even try. You just have to accept it is not possible and spend some money to actually buy the thing you need.

 

For example: My Chromebook only supported one monitor, so I thought If I bought this weird VGA splitter adapter it would work but all it did was mirror one external display to the other. Not to mention ghosting and other bad stuff. I wasted $20 on that. 

 

In conclusion, don't buy weird adapters or try other things when it obviously won't work. I get it you are trying to save money not to buy a gpu, but sometimes you just have to spend some money. 

WARNING!! THE THINGS I SAY ARE BASED OFF EXPERIENCE AND MIGHT NOT BE TOTALLY ACCURATE!!
