Oculus link help

I recently bought a Kiwi oculus link cable for my quest 2, but the oculus pc software doesn't see or find the quest.

Has anyone got any ideas what should I do?

you need to have the quest 2 turned on and there should be a popup on the quest 2 screen that asks you to authorize/enable connection to pc

It askes if I want to let my pc access the data

Select either yes or no, but you have to go past that prompt.

and then what?

Then it should be available and you can enable Link on the Quest.

nope, nothing else shows up after that

Are you plugged into the proper USB port on your pc?

Got another cable to try? Even short, just to see if it works.

So I fixed it somehow, I've got no idea what changed everything is exactly same as before and now it just works.
