CPU & GPU Safe temperature for Laptop

Go to solution Solved by NattyKathy,

Those temperatures are safe and about normal for a gaming laptop. For Nvidia GPUs cooler is better because boost clock drops off more above 70*C but it's not really realistic to stay in the 60s on a laptop. As long as the GPU is below 80*C and the CPU is below 90*C its totally fine; there won't be performance problems until the CPU gets to around 100*C and the GPU gets to around 90*C (give or take a few * depending on the system) and even then it's not really "dangerous" since there's plenty of thermal protections.

I have dell g7 laptop with CPU = I7 & GPU = RTX 2060 the CPU temps goes between 75-85c and GPU temps goes between 70-80c while gaming(GTA 5, Hitman 3, etc.) are these temperate safe for these processor or not because sometimes I thought that are these temps are safe or not. What is the safe temperature for CPU & GPU while Ideal as well as while gaming?
