Hi guys,

as a student i am currently working with a Surface Pro 4 and actually im kinda fine with it even though i cant do much with it. But now i saw this offer and i think this might be a good one. At this point a need a good advice because these two are way to similar 🙂

Offer 1:
CPU: Intel QuadCore CPU i5 6600K, OC @ 4 x 4600 MHz with Cooler: Scythe Mugen4
MB: Asus Z170-P
RAM: 16 GB DDR4
GPU: Sapphire HD 7870! with 2048 MB,

Power adapter: 350 W

Offer 2:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 6-Kern CPU, OC @ 6 x 3800 MHz.
MB: ASRock B450M Pro4-F
RAM: 16 GB DDR4 Speiche
GPU: Gainward GTX 680 Phantom with 2048 MB

Power adapter: 600 W

in both offers there is a 256 GB m2 SSD + 1000 GB HDD included

both offers will cost roughly the same ~330€

I looked up some comparisons. The GPU seems to be equal. The Ryzen seems to be better then the i5 on benchmarks - but in the benchmarks i saw they aren't overclocked, so now i dont know... The motherboard are comparable, but B450 is way newer. Pls correct me if im wrong. Right now i dont have any further information, but maybe i can ask the guy offering.

As i wrote, i dont have a need to play games on high settings. Actually i want a good bang for my buck. And maybe if i want to upgrade the components there should be the opportunity in the future.

Thank you very much for any advice!

All in all good for the price at around 330€? As i looked up the used parts on ebay those bought together would be more expensive than this offer - thats why i am confused
Because there is no real need to buy a system now but in around ~6-12 months.

Thanks for this insanly fast answer!

The ryzen system is way way better:

The CPU is a 6 core with a single core speed equivalent to an i5-6500 but 6 cores and multi-threading.

The GPU is also good to have considering how expensive are brand new GPUs.Not only that but it's better than the first system.

And the power supply/ power adapter might allow for a newer graphics card to be bought when you ever need one.

IF I were you I would buy it in a heartbeat! It's such a good offer.
