Interchangeable Corsair cables?

Hi,

I am planning on upgrading my current PSU from a Corsair RM650x to a RM750x. My question is that would I be okay using the same PSU cables as I did with my RM650x? As they are both RMX units, it should be fine right?

Yes, both use the same Corsair type 4 cables.

I only question why you would only jump up by 100 watts? Why not 850x?

If I can manage to get an 850x unit I will absolutely go for it, however a lot of places sell out quickly and have very limited stock.
