  1. Hi, I have a Corsair 280x, and the left front USB port will just not work. (well most of the time). Every time I plug a keyboard/ mouse/ flashdrive into it, I get the same error "USB Device Not Recognized". I checked my USB connection to my mobo and everything is good, I have tried various tutorials on reinstalling drivers and what not but nothing works. I should note, when I plug in things such as my Oculus Link cable, it works fine. If anyone has any clue on why this is happening I would appretiate the help. Thanks
  2. If I can manage to get an 850x unit I will absolutely go for it, however a lot of places sell out quickly and have very limited stock.
  3. Awesome, thanks for the info.
  4. Hi, I am planning on upgrading my current PSU from a Corsair RM650x to a RM750x. My question is that would I be okay using the same PSU cables as I did with my RM650x? As they are both RMX units, it should be fine right? Thanks.
  5. I dont have any games installed on my laptop currently, so just guessing. It's probably more towards 70.
  6. My CPU idles at around 39-47. Under heavy load I have not tested it recently, however I would asume it would be anywhere between 50-65.
  7. Thanks for the reply. Under heavy load I believe the GPU does reach temps of around 65, maybe 70 but im not too sure. I know for certain it has never reached into the 80's. I am still considering using a stand but am not sure as of yet.
  8. Hi, I am slightly concerned about my laptops temps whilst on idle. On Idle, my cores average around the low to mid 40's. However My GPU averages anywhere between 50-56. My specs: i7 9750h RTX 2070 Max-q Design 16GB Ram I have read many conficting things on various forums. Most people say 50-56 is fine for a laptop GPU temp whilst idling. However, some say it is slightly a bit too much for average temps whilst idling. Would anyone say this is normal? If not, what methods could I do to make it cooler. I have r
  9. Okay, I have only mentioned that it has a buzzing noise when the brightness is increased. If the replacement does a similar thing then I will know for sure. No harm done getting a replacement for no extra charge just to be on the safe side. Thanks for the advice.
  10. About to confirm the return for the monitor. As other replies said its probably best to return it. I have never experienced coil whine on any previous monitors, would it be considered a fault?
  11. Yeah absolutely. I have nothing to lose returning it for a new one.
  12. Yeah, thought something wasn't right. Never had a monitor do this before.
  13. #1 Hi, I have just recieved a brand new Acer Nitro VG240Ybmipx 23.8 Inch FHD Gaming Monitor. However, I am having an issue with it. I have found that when I increase the brightness using the monitor menu, there is a hissing noise. If I decrease the brightness to below 55, the noise stops completely. Currently, I have the brightness set to 65% and the hissing noise coming from the monitor is very minimal. Does anyone know if this can be fixed or do I need to return it? Thanks
