Embarrassing situation thanks to the garbage OS on LG TVs

superbuu

I was watching TV with my mom and she typed by mistake a number that was playing porn on some obscure channel. I remember I blocked this channel on the menu, but apparently it doesn't delete it, it just makes it skip when you move channels up and down, but if you actually type the exact number it shows up. Thank god I was at the door and not sitting at the sofa so when I saw the number I left before it started playing. My f*cking god, I can't believe this. I want to smash this TV with a hammer for having such a dumb way to deal with channels. How do I actually delete the damn TV channel? Im so mad. The TV is the LG 49UN71003LB or one similar to this.  It's running WebOS 4.5. How do I delete for good these stupid channels? holy shit.

I'm guessing there may be a delete setting lurking in the same menu as where you find the block setting?

at least it wasn't hardcore porn, its just one of these channels with people sending sms and some mild stripping of a girl in low resolution. Thank god i wasn't looking becuase that would have been traumatic smh

when you have actual channels for adult stuff.

Also why so mad, was it because you wanted to hide it or just annoying to deal with, else I dont understand why to be angry at it.

Because the antenna picks it up? geez. I blocked it back then but it showed up, that's the problem.

Im mad because this dumb OS should delete the channels, not just skip them.
