Should I update optional driver windows 10 ?

ASUS ROG

Hello guys I was checking for windows update to fix internet problems I have then I've noticed that there is these optional driver update all of them is about Intel , some of them is out dated !!  and some of them was released in 2020

I don't have any  problem (except the internet which I've found a way to fix it ) ,but will these newer update(2020)  add a thing ?

Thanks.

I am getting pretty fucking sick and tired of the "watch something else" responses. It's such a cop out answer because you could say that about basically anything, and it doesn't address the actual complaints. People use it as some kind of card they pull when they can't actually respond to the criticism raised but they still feel like they need to defend some company/person. If you don't like this thread then stop reading it. See how stupid it is? It's basically like telling someone "shut the fuck up". It's not a clever responsive, it doesn't address anything said, and it is rude.

That is normal that they are old. They might also be really new. It is there in the case you are having issues with a hardware, Microsoft is offering alternative driver version that might allow your affected hardware/peripheral run better. Again, it is in the case you are facing issues.

As stated above, those are there if your hardware is having problems with the currently installed drivers. If you want to check if you have the latest drivers for your wifi card, chipset, etc., go directly to Intel for those. You can check manually or use their Driver & Support Assistant.
