Blue screening problem

This is a repost because the last one didn’t help.
I have the following components in a pre built pc that I got a really good deal on pre covid and ever since I’ve gotten it I have had problems with crashes mainly only with Cold War. The crashes are less frequent but definitely still there and I’m getting very sick of it so I think it’s time to upgrade and completely get rid of this problem (unless I don’t need to) I was thinking of going 3080 what other components would I need to upgrade I have the following.

 

16Gb ram

 

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-core Processor

3.70 ghz

 

Nividia GeForce rtx 2060

 

Motherboard 

Gigabyte technology co., Ltd.

B450M DS3H WIFI-CF

x.x

 

1tb Hd

500g ssd

 

do I need to upgrade my components to stop the crashing or am I simply doing something wrong (I’m quite new to pc) if more information is needed please let me know.

There is zero reason why the parts chosen would lead to a BSOD. Maybe a hardware configuration problem, but in order to figure this out we will need log files and more information for your specific BSOD error code. Chances are you have a bad driver, which is somewhat common depending on what peripherals you have installed.

The performance of your components has nothing to do with BSOD. Look up the program BlueScreenView and post your dump files here. There are endless reasons why this could be happening. Corrupt system files, bad drivers, defectives components, etc. We can't just guess what the problem is.

This is what I keep getting running a scan and repair hasn’t helped

Okay so I downloaded windbg preview because apparently that’s how I get the dump file for blue screen view but I have absolutely no clue what to do

Especially with prebuilds I like to format the drive and get a fresh install of windows and drivers. Reinstalling Windows is never a bad idea. Make sure to backup your data!

That’s the exact same thing I downloaded listen man I have no clue how to use any of this stuff so getting it seems pointless

It is extremely easy to use. I can assure you it is less pointless than letting us sit here and guess what your issue may be.

Okay so I did it and it did happen to crash not long after so now there is a crash that popped up sorry about the confusion on my end lol now what?

I believe this is what you need I’m not sure if there is supposed to be blank spaces hopefully there is

Here’s another one that just happened this morning not sure if it’s one of those situations were every crash may have a different cause or what but here it is anyway

Have you disabled your pagefile by chance? If not, do you have your XMP profile enabled?

The xmp profile is enabled idk bow to check page file

Disable the XMP profile and see if that helps. Don't worry about the pagefile, if you're unsure how to check then it's highly unlikely it's been removed.

Still get bsod on games that are not demanding at all even with xmp disabled also disabling xmp made Cold War run wayyy worse and still have the same issue

I would suggest reinstalling Windows from scratch to rule out anything on the software side. I have a hunch it may be GPU related but it's difficult to tell. A clean install + latest drivers from Nvidia may clear this up.

How do I clean  reinstall windows
