Issues with Bluetooth and Mics.

Hi there! So, basically a few months ago i bought the Razer Kitty Kat BT epic gamer headset from GameStop as a way to be able to voice chat without having to be close to my PC (Which at the time was about 10 feet away from my sitting position). I already owned a Razer headset so i figured this would be a totally cool purchase and things would go smoothly for me and I would be happy. Unfortunately things have not gone smoothly. Ever since ive brought the headset home I've been having issues getting the damned mic to work. The headset works fine for listening to things but the moment i wanna use if for anything else its garbage. Now, IF (and that's a big if) I can even get the mic to work or even appear as something that i can even use, the audio on my headset sounds horrible. The mic sounds fine but everything that I hear is awful. I've tried fixing it but everything i google talks about the wired headsets or just doesn't help or assumes the issue is something else entirely. I would just go back to my old headset but my dog decided it would be a pretty neat chew toy. So basically, my problem now is even if I can get the thing to work I either have fine audio or a fine mic but not both. Is there any fix to this or is this just how that is? It would seem pretty stupid for Razer to sell a BT headset that doesn't work as a BT headset.

Your problem sounds like nothing to do with anything else but the headset itself. 

 

Probably a broken cable or damaged internal controls (wire to driver). Shouldn't be surprised since it's made by Razer.
