Why? Why would someone recommend a Hard Drive in 2021? I do not understand... 🤦‍♂️

• I would suggest a CX750M or a MWE850 Gold for PSU.

• Get a used 1050 ti ~$200? You have search for them they are pretty rare even at that price.

• You could go for AMD counter part CPU, Ryzen 5 3600x with MSI B550M PRO VDH Wifi.

• Try getting 2x 16gb ram sticks or to keep things under budget 8+8 GB ram sticks because dual channel is better than single channel. Of course 3200Mhz each.

Other stuff is your preference but keep the cooler in the list it's good.

Here, I just assumed your budget was around $1,000-$1,100 USD, so here ya go 👍

This list ends up costing roughly ~$100 more than yours listed, but is better in almost every way (only similarity is your choice of CPU)

This is a good selection of parts. To be picky, i would get a 10600K the 1160K is only a small amount better, and im a very cheap person. And a Samsung 970 Evo Plus 250 GB its he is not going to see a difference with a Samsung if primary use is gaming.

In my area amd cpu's are for some reason quite more expensive. I also forgot to say thet the ram is dual channel.

PSU's this powerful are not necessary for a mid-tier Gaming PC. Plus, the CX750 is only Bronze efficiency rated.

Agreed

More expensive, and worse performance

Why would you recommend either of these for a new gaming build? 32GB's of RAM is not necessary, and 3200Mhz is dumb when 3600Mhz is so similarly priced.

No. That is simply false. Not for a higher-TDP Intel part, no. It has a 90mm fan for christs sake 🤦‍♂️

Case:

The case you chose seems like it should fit everything. Corsair in my opinion makes quality cases. Also, the 220T looks really nice and looks to have great cooling capabilities.

PSU:

If you are going with a 1050ti or a 3060 with an 11600k cpu, then I would recommend saving some money and going with a 600W or so PSU.

Motherboard:

I usually find it unnecessary getting a Strix or similar mobo if you aren't getting a z590, but the mobo you found does seem to be at a good price. However, just keep in mind that you won't be able to overclock your CPU unless you get a z590 mobo. Also, if you haven't done so already, go through all the IO and slots on the mobo and make sure that there are all the ports you may need on this mobo.

CPU:

I'm a big Intel person and I really like the 11600K/KF, which is an impressive core i5 that is meant for gaming. However, at the moment as per PCPartPicker, the best 11600K deal is only $5 more than the best $11600KF and with the UHD 750 iGPU being a great upgrade from the UHD 630 iGPU, I would recommend going with the 11600K and have a more appropriate GPU for internet browsing/ watching videos etc. that uses a lot less power than a 30 series GPU and lets you not torture your GPU by using it all the time.

CPU Cooler:

The one you chose seems like a formidable cooler for a respectable price and I think its difficult to go wrong with Noctua.

RAM:

It's always better to get 2 sticks to have dual-channel memory so I would recommend going with the same thing but splitting the 16gb into 2 8gb sticks. Other than that, the RAM you chose should be enough for your gaming, but if you have the budget and find some good deals then it may be worth getting 3600MHZ and if you really have the budget getting 32gb (2*16gb or 4*8gb) of 3200MHZ memory.

GPU:

Both the 1050ti and especially the 3060 (if you can find one) are good options. Though, if you want superior frames, then it may be worth trying to get your hands on a 3060ti or even a 3070 since both in my opinion are better buys than a 3060 and would pair better with an 11600k cpu.

Storage:

I would recommend getting a 1TB 970 evo plus as opposed to a 1TB 970 evo since it has better specs and is at the moment on sale for about $10 less than the 970 evo on Newegg.

I don't think i will have problems with that, maybe the drivers, but all that stuff is easy to find on the internet

Good, because if you cant you will just have a pile of parts. Its relatively easy. When you say aesthetics, do you mean RGB?

Thread cleaned, please keep it to the build discussion. Normal to have multiple people comment with suggestions and OPs can make sense of them just fine, but when the discussion about too many people giving suggestions amounts to more posts than the suggestions themselves you're not exactly achieving much.

PSU's this powerful are not necessary for a mid-tier Gaming PC. Plus, the CX750 is only Bronze efficiency rated.

I saw a CX750 80+ Gold idk

More expensive, and worse performance

Yea but price was good earlier maybe it's changed now.

Why would you recommend either of these for a new gaming build? 32GB's of RAM is not necessary, and 3200Mhz is dumb when 3600Mhz is so similarly priced.

I just wanted to mention dual channel, ik 32 makes no sense but upgrades are required after some time.

About 3600mhz, both intel i5-11600kf and ryzen 5 3600x only supports 3200mhz out of the box and idk if motherboard supports 3600mhz xmp

No. That is simply false. Not for a higher-TDP Intel part, no. It has a 90mm fan for christs sake 🤦‍♂️

Bruhh I was recommending amd so that cooler is the best for it. Ik intel doesn't need custom cooler.
