Need some FPS shooter games with story mode. Which series are good?

Hi, i want to play some FPS shooter games with story mode as in my country there's a lockdown currently. Which games should i play?

System:

CPU: Intel Xeon X5450 3.00 GHz.

MB: ASUS ROG Commando.

GPU: Sapphire R9 280X Tri-X OC 3GB GDDR5 384-BIT.

RAM: Kingston 6 GB DDR2 800 MHz CL6.

HDD: Samsung HD155UI 1.5 TB 5400 RPM.

PSU: Gigabyte P650B 650W 80+ Bronze

OS: Windows 10 Pro 20H2 64-Bit

Titanfall 2 SP, also has a great recently flourishing Multiplayer community since it went to Steam.

Half Life 2, Episode 1 and Episode 2. (Maybe play Half Life or Black Mesa before the Half Life 2 series)

Brothers in Arms is a great trilogy

STALKER doesn't have much of a story, but has fantastic atmosphere

I enjoyed the ARMA campaigns, but you might not get much value if you're just playing single player

Dishonoured, but it's more of an immersive sim/RPG than FPS

The Metro series, like STALKER, there's not too much of a story, but the atmosphere is fantastic.

Titanfall 2's campaign is one of the best shooter campaigns I've played in a while

Deus Ex has a good story, but is more of an RPG than FPS.

Far Cry 3/4 are good IME, but rather story light in 4's case.

If you want a shooter with a good story, you'll be hard pressed to beat Fallout 4.

 

It tends to split opinion, but I loved it.

 

It's on game pass at the moment too.

 

Some other recommendations are;

 

The Outer Worlds

Titanfall 2

Crysis (all 3)

Far Cry (any of the newer ones)

Bioshock

 

Now, Bioshock, in particular, is probably the most engaging and engrossing story from among those, and there are 3 games in the series.

 

There's enough gun play and action, but there's also a very interesting story there too.

 

Personally, I'd say get all 3 (they are always on sale somewhere) and play through the series.
