Hey there.

Hello, looking to build a planck keyboard and need help finding a planck rev6 / rev6.1 pcb. Thanks in advance, sorry to bother but I've looked and they are out of stock everywhere (we getting a rev7 soon?)

Ah, apologies in advance for the lack of good news. I'm likely just confirming your own findings:

  • Planck PCB Rev. 6/6.1: Currently, standalone Planck PCBs are out of stock from the list of U.S. vendors I've checked (Full List, Section [6.0]).
  • Drop + OLKB Planck Keyboard Kit (Keyboard Kit): In-stock, but I'm guessing you aren't looking for the full kit?
  • JJ40 (PCB): While it isn't physically or firmware-wise identical to the Planck (as I understand it, it has issues fitting into Planck cases and vice versa), it is an alternative 40% ortholinear option. I'm uncertain whether the JJ40 is QMK-compatible. Offered by KPrepublic.
  • BM40 (Keyboard): Another alternative 40% ortholinear option that is QMK-compatible and hot-swappable, offered by KPrepublic.

OLKB has a Discord channel that you may be able to gather more up-to-date info about the Planck from, perhaps. Like questions about a newer revision?

  • Discord Invite to QMK: Discord channel states "QMK," but I believe it's also OLKB's hub.

Ah, thanks. Will look into the other options as well as the qmk discord.
