Budget (including currency): under 3k (for pc, peripherals, software, etc.)

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant, csgo, apex legends, minecraft, productivity, etc.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Already paid disgusting scalper price of 1250 for the 3070, also bought the cpu, ram, and ssd. Please feel free to give advice on other parts or any changes I should make. Probably gonna play at 1440p and looking for refresh rate of at least 144Hz. Also still deciding on case fans, monitor, and peripherals so feel free to leave some budget suggestions.

get a beefy air cooler or a 280mm aio if you can mount it up top.
240mm aio won't leave you any headroom. Never front mount your aio if the case has no breathing space for the gpu

Honestly really good

All I would change is the cooler.

He's got a nice case. If he bought the AIO he'd still be fine lol

I'd go for CL16 memory over CL18.

Any reason I should avoid an MSI psu? I only chose it cause it was a good price and was on the LTT psu tier list

Had nothing but problems with MSI products with poor after support. EVGA would be a better company to go for.
