I have a question about GPU Temperature, the new update of NVIDIA allows you to lower your GPU Temp Target. My question is, is this bad for your GPU?

Because i wanna lower my GPU Temp for ingame to something like 70C, but i dont know if its bad to do it. I hope someone can help me out.

As lower as you can get on your GPU Temperature more longevity you will get on it, sometimes but just sometimes and depending of the game as well the rest of your system your can get some extra FPS. On my system I manage to decrease over 10C by just improving my air flow, therefore your case may help you on this as well.

Hmm... What GPU are you running? If you dont mind.

I believe with a 3rd party tool like msi afterburner there is a way to underclock the GPU too as another way to lower temps.

I love PC building and gaming.
REMEMBER botttlenecks can happen at all points of a PC part. Make sure you are at equilibrium. For all parts unless you intend to upgrade at a later point. Also QA Tested AAA Games.

I did not know about this, but Afterburner will let you do that too.

As long as your not reaching high temps, or max rated operating temp, or hotter, you should be fine. You can use MSI Afterburner to adjust the fan curve to get the temperature down a bit, if you are in the mid 70s, then that is fine.
