Power button issue

So I have a pc case, the power button says power sw, my motherboard has a pwrbtn switch. The header I need uses two pins but the one I have on my motherboard uses only 1. I cant turn it on bc of this

What motherboard do you have? Do you have a picture of it (specifically the front panel header part)?

There is probably a second "Power SW" connector, look for that, one is positive and one is negative.

The least riskiest thing to do is buy a new case to replace the old one. Make sure you don't get one that requires 2 pins.

(edit: cool evlo is right do that before going for a new case)

Can you post the manual for the motherboard you're using? Usually the front I/O comes with a bunch of pins bunched together. They're paired together as +/-.
