Can I install 24 gigs of ram?

its because my 16 gb pc is running at 90 percent due to the intensive workloads I do. I also like to keep a lot of tabs open, and I thought 32 gb is overkill so I want something in between. how about if I buy 2x4 gb ram sticks and 2x8 for a total of 24 gigs of ram, but they can run dual channel? -

sorry I don't know how to explain it. -
Hello, I was wondering if I could purchase 3 sticks of ram (8 gb each) of this https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-1x8GB-PC4-25600-Optimized/dp/B08D6LKYR5/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=corsair+vengeance+lpx+8gb+3200&qid=1618501395&s=electronics&sr=1-3 and put it in with my motherboard in a dual channel and single channel configuration, or buy two 4gb sticks of ram and two 8 gb sticks of ram for both dual channel. Will it work? which configuration is better? Could you include how to install it? thanks.

I included a link on the bottom which includes a very good laptop. It includes a screen, a mouse, a keyboard, and speakers all under 1000 dollars. -

Your cpu will still be compatible with your motherboard. Type up a solution for it; Im sure there are tutorials on how to update it.

Wondering if 2000 usd pc is worth it?

thanks for the resolution. for some of my work applications, a 12 core cpu is a bit overkill. I aim to do graphically intensive workloads like rendering and something like deep learning which requires a lot of gpu muscle. I can't game with a 5700xt in minecraft rtx or cyberpunk rtx. -
So I have been debating with myself wondering whether or not I should get a 2000ish dollar pc with a 3080, 16 gb ram, and an i7 11700. I render things, use intensive applications, game at 1440p 165 hz (minecraft rtx and cyberpunk 2077 with rtx ultra). Is it worth it?

my guess is you need a better power supply. you should get a 80+ gold one instead of bronze. the rtx 3000 series are known to have large power spikes.
