I upgraded my system to an ryzen 5 2600, b450 aorus elite and 16 gb 3000mhz ram and from day 1 I had random freezes whenever the cpu gets under load, temps are perfect (never above 60).. After a lot of time trying everything to get a clue why that happens I found out that if I lock the voltage at 1.15 volts, using ryzen master and locking all cores to 3.40 ghz, the problem disappears..

So my question is, I got bad luck with the cpu or there is something that im missing? Also, someone had this problem too?

Update MB BIOS.

RAM set at XMP 3000?

What RAM exactly. Some don't run verry well with Ryzen.

I tried every single bios version and nothing, still the problem is there.

Yeah, the ram is set to xmp 3000 mhz and the ram is Corsair lpx 2x8, rated at 3000 mhz cl 15

What happens if you disable XMP? I've seen some people have a hard time with LPX and Ryzen, more when they try to OC it.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Yeah, lots of trouble with Corsair LPX abd Ryzen. Try to lower ramspeed to 2933 with XMP enabled.

Vengeance LPX is not always SK Hynix, which is what Ryzen has the most trouble with. My LPX kit has Nanya Technologies chips.

OP, can you run CPU-Z and show us what it reports for SPD #2 and #4 (if you have your RAM in those slots)?

PLEASE STOP [Killing] ME I WILL GIVE Y OU ANOTHER DEAL.
