GPU temperature

I have a rtx 2070. It idles around 40 comfortably but gets up to 80C while playing Warzone (max settings with the default settings from aorus software). Is this safe ?

Yeah, 80C peaks is not bad at all for a gpu. It likely won't thermal throttle unless it gets into the 90s or about 100C.

Yeah, that is normal for a gpu of that type. Some models with big coolers were better but 80 isn't bad. What exact model?

i would say it stops there because the card starts throttling at this point but if you don't notice it it'll probably be fine.

 

i would however suggest to try improving airflow in your case.
