Benchmark software that Linus uses

Go to solution Solved by somer4ndo,

That's Cinebench.

Which benchmark software does Linus show in his videos where he is comparing rigs like the all AMD one or the Walmart pc?

I've heard of Cinebench and CPU-Z, (I don't use userbenchmark for some random reasons), but I don't know which one Linus used.

I'm looking for a program/s that would tax the cpu and the gpu.

I play heavy games (I want to try out Microsoft flight simulator eventually) such as GTA5, Arma 3, CSGO, and Minecraft at max settings.

*Referring to the part where the Walmart pc did pretty good and they were showing the screen where it showed a bar graph with scores.*

(I don't have the build fully set up yet, but I just want to prepare everything beforehand by getting things on a usb and updates.)

Do you have a screenshot or video link perhaps?

It could be Aida64 or any of the 3DMark benchmarks you're thinking off.

The former is a CPU stress-test, usually used to test your CPU in the worst case scenario, the latter is a range of benchmarks to stress your CPU and GPU in a gaming like way.

Or the software in the video (I think it was the Epyc Holy S*** video) where they were testing rendering times to load some images as a test.
In case anyone demands to know if I'm illiterate, I did see other posts and went through them, but I just wanted to the the specific software Linus used, because since my current pc is from about 2009, I kinda think it will not stand for the programs as of right now. So I need to wait until the pc comes so I can test it, so thats why I would like to know the specific one.
