HELP?

I recently bought computer parts, put them together. everything was going fine until the heatsink, I used the amd fx 6300 processor and coolermaster hyper 212 evo, it kept sliding off and i realized it was stopping, it was halfway off the cpu but I didn't realize it. I tried to gently push it back up and the processor came out of the msi 970A-g43 motherboard, 

 

Is my motherboard okay? or my processor? 

I was using the thermal compound that the cooler master provided, mostly because I didn't feel like going and buying a different kind. 

 

I also looked inside the parts inside the cpu socket and they didnt look any different from before, the bottom of my cpu was fine too , 

I'm seriously worried about this and would love to know how much this can really harm my system?

Yea we are going to need pics because I seriously can't grasp how you managed to do what you did.

Try to install and test run with the stock cooler.

Then if it runs fine install that back hyper 212 evo
