How hard is it to move my Operating System?

Hi all,

I've got Windows 8 Home Premium on a 60GB SSD (C:), and then all the rest of my stuff (Games, Apps & Media) on a 1TB WD Green (F:). I want to move everything on (C:) to (F:) so my computer will have everything on (F:) and boot from it. How hard will this be? Priority here is having everything on (F:) kept. Everything on C: can be deleted and reinstalled, just as long as I have (F:). I do also have a spare hard drive (G:) that I can use as a temp if I'll need to move everything from (F:) onto (G:) and then install my OS on (F:) then move everything from (G:) to (F:).

Also, I'll then be using the SSD to cache my HDD, how do I go about doing this?

Thanks

You will have to clone your SSD to your HDD, and then take out the SSD to see if it boots from the HDD (or you could just change the boot settings). If it boots from the HDD into windows then you'll be fine.

If you move all the content from drive (F:) to drive (G:) then it would be safe to clone (C:) to (F:) then you could change the boot order to boot from (F:) and all should be fine,

You could use this software to do it, or if you have a piece of software in mind already go ahead with that.

Hope it helped
