asus Gtx 780 asus gtx 780 directcu ii oc no display possible solution.

Hello, 

 

I bought a Gtx 780 directcu ii from asus about 8 months ago from i person i knew. The card was running fine in his pc but did not give any display when i plugged it into my rig with an hdmi cable. Tried all the methods already listed here and on youtube to fix it like removing all drivers and so forth.

tried using a dvi cable and it also still did not work. Tried putting it back onto his pc and same issue so i just thought something went wrong while taking it out and left it at that. 

 

It was just siting in my room for 8 moths until i bought an divi to hdmi adapter to hook up a second monitor to my existing gpu. Tried 

it with the gtx 780 for shits and giggles and it worked without removing drivers or any other work around. Just leaving it here incase someone else is having the same issue and can't solve it. 

 

The funny thing is that a normal dvi cable still does not work and it only works with the dvi to hdmi adapter for some reason.
