Can I speed up my pc

Squishy1015

I have a ryzen 3 3200g and an ASRock B450-m. The problem is that it now runs games in the MAIN MENU at the lowest possible settings at 4 FPS. Is there a way to fix this. I already tried overclocking to 3.9 Ghz on cpu and my ram is 16gb 3000mhz.

Parts

-ryzen 3 3200g

-ASRock b450-m

-2x evga gtx 770

-samsung evo 870 (Im not sure if that is the right number) 1tb ssd

-rosewill 1000w

-T-force ddr4 16gb 3000mhz

-windows 10 64 bit

It doesn't even load call of duty war zone, roblox gets like 10fps, and fortnite is the one I was talking about. The only game that will load is Valorant on the lowest settings with a max of 100fps.

Is this a new build? Are you running your RAM in dual-channel?

Which DIMM (RAM) slots are occupied on your motherboard? Ideally, attach a picture.

Yeah, that is not seated correctly. You should do A1 and B1, or A2 and B2. That is probably one of the reasons your perfomance is poor.

Are the 2 770's in SLI? As in there is a sort bridge thing connecting them or are they just separately installed with nothing connecting them?

That motherboard is not even NVidia SLI capable. Only Crossfire for Radeon.

Was unaware b450 boards didnt support it, I knew it was dying but thought support was still available. Only asked cause he has two plugged in

This. Only X370, X470 and X570 are SLI capable, so having two of those cards is more of a hindrance than it will help at all, that's why I suggested taking one out to test. single-channel RAM will NEVER cause just 4FPS in an in-game menu even with 4GB single channel.

I would take one of the 770 out if I don't have the sli bridge, even if i have the sli support kinda dying and in some cases it hurt the performance... Oh and updating the driver sometimes help a little bit

You weren't because the system isn't capable of it. You were/are having two GTX 770 in your system that were working independently. Nvidia expects the 16 GPU lanes to be split into 8x/8x which is something that B450 can't do, so no SLI. The second x16 slot is usually 4x electrically provided by the chipset. It is sufficient for AMD CrossFire (which is just as dead as SLI), but not for Nvidia SLI.

No I mean like I was trying to

Ah, okay. Yeah, no, forget it. It won't work and even if it did it would be a bad time. Too little VRAM and the GPUs are too old to make any difference. If one isn't sufficient, you should've bought a larger one (780, 780Ti). But now the GPU market is a mess and you won't get anything better anyway.

The only way to get something better is to pay the scalped price which I highly recommend NOT doing or winning the luck of the draw through Newegg

That's assuming you can find a reasonable card for a good price, people are reselling their GPU's atm for what retail is normally due to the price increases. Like i said best bet is to get lucky with newegg and get a brand new card at retail
