New Nvdia Geforce Experience Update Causing Tons of Issues

So I just updated my Nvidia Geforce Experience and I am having many issues. The first issue is random in game lag where the game just lags randomly to the point where it crashed while I was playing. The second issue is where the fps counter appears on the desktop. This is really weird because these issues have never happened before the update. Also just a personal opion I don't really like the new fps counter font.

I am not the only one having this issue. My users on the Nvdia Forums are reporting also having these issues. This seams to have started happeing to people in the past few hours. For now I have just decided to use the previous version of Nvidia Geforce Experience. I am not experiencing any of these of issues on the older release. Overall all these issues seem to be caused by the new update. Hopfully Nvidia will release something to fix this.

How the heck are you using an older version?  I mean as soon you actually open it, it will update....  GFE never had an option to turn off auto update afaik...

Just curious because I'd love using an older version if there's a way, as the one I have now has weird (but not atypical) issues especially while recording/ streaming.

Okay, so at first I could not find any older versions to download but then I found this site with older versions. As far as I know Nvdia does not allow you to download previous versions. I know it is sorta unsafe to download it from a random site but it works and it is the legiment file. Site: https://geforce-experience.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions

It doesn't ask me to update and works fine. I will probally use this till the next update comes out. Hopefully these issues will be fixed.

Hmm, thanks,  I'll give it a try...

As for them fixing it, they sure will but in my experience this can take months...it's why I barely update my drivers... the drivers itself are *usually* fine but boy do they mess up GFE/ Shadow Play often lol.

FYI don't open the geforce experience application or else it will update. You can still use the alt - z window but you can't use the actual application without updating.
