  1. FYI don't open the geforce experience application or else it will update. You can still use the alt - z window but you can't use the actual application without updating.
  2. Okay, so at first I could not find any older versions to download but then I found this site with older versions. As far as I know Nvdia does not allow you to download previous versions. I know it is sorta unsafe to download it from a random site but it works and it is the legiment file. Site: https://geforce-experience.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions It doesn't ask me to update and works fine. I will probally use this till the next update comes out. Hopefully these issues will be fixed.
  3. So I just updated my Nvidia Geforce Experience and I am having many issues. The first issue is random in game lag where the game just lags randomly to the point where it crashed while I was playing. The second issue is where the fps counter appears on the desktop. This is really weird because these issues have never happened before the update. Also just a personal opion I don't really like the new fps counter font. I am not the only one having this issue. My users on the Nvdia Forums are reporting also having these issues. This seams to have started happeing to people in the past f
  4. So I want to get into mining and I though I would use my dads old work pc that he is geting rid of as the base of the mining rig (everything except the gpu). The thing is I do not know If I could actually fit a card on the board. The board has 2 16x slots so in terms of actually compatibility it would work but I am acutally woried about the other stuff around the slot (board). I know it sounds strange but this board has some stuff around the slots that would prevent the cards from maybe fiting on it, espeically 3060 ti's. You can click the link in the line above and check out what the board lo
  5. If you are wondering how to mount the cooler properly try screwing down the screws one at a time screwing them down a little bit for each and then screw all of them down. What ends up happening is when you screw down one all the way you are not able to screw all of the other screws down. I had a hard time with this in my build. I had to redo the screws several times.
  6. Okay so you know how your onedrive syncs with your pc well I did not really know that so I deleted a whole of files from my one drive and they deleted on my pc. I tried to take the files out of the one drive rycle bin but bc my onedrive was so full all my files has not synced completely before deleting. I was freaking out and then found out you could do a system restore and restore your system back to a previous timepoint. Luckicly for me I had a sytem restore from 5 yesterday. But with every restore point I try I get the error in the image below. It seems like it is something wrong with the r
  7. Hello, I have a list of a whole bunch of little bits of information that I want to save for later. These pieces of information include reminders and just usefull information for later. Currently I have a google doc where I just list these things but I would like to have a better way to store these pieces of information. These pieces of information can be really usefull. For example: recently I had something on there that said "put in io shield before putting in motherboad" to remind me when I built my pc or use the cs:go luanch option "allow _third_party_software" to allow recording cs:go with
  8. Umm, hmmm.... I do not know where exactly it goes. Just wondering do you have a modular or non modular power supply. Refer to the image below. Also you are trying to plug the cable into the motherboard right????
  9. There should be a few 3 or 4 pin port ports the motherboard that say fan 1, 2 or just if it just fan. I could not find a good image of the connector on the motherboard but they are the ports the arrows are pointing at. Edit: I am sorry for the bad image. It is more to show you where the ports are. The connector is 4 pins sticking up. Your fans may have 3 but it is fine, they go in the same port.
  10. Ok so if you motherboard supports it can flash the bios using a usb stick. It is my understanding that flashing the bios is the same as updating so this should work but I am not sure. You will just have to try it. So what you want to do get on a different computer and go to asrock's website and download the latest bios version. Put it on the flash drive and make sure the flash drive is the fat32 format. Plug the flashdrive, restart your computer and get in the bios. Go to either the advanced or tool menu (I can't remeber which one and you should see something istant flash, usb fla
  11. Okay first of all that CPU is too expenisive for your budget. Also with your budget you do not have money to spend on things like rgb on your motherboard. I know it is cool but you are paying extra money for it. I think you should get a 550 watt powersupply. For example the link below is my build that I built back in november for around $550. I was able to get everthing at msrp which was pretty hard. I think you could maybe squeze in 16 gigs and also I would not get a hard drive for now and just get spend that money on something like a bigger capacity ssd like a 500gb. Like in linus tech tips
  12. I would say microcenter but they don't have those in canda. I don't live there soooo..... Canada Computers? I found online that they build pc's.
  13. I did not want to say this but I will be using this pc to try out mining. I will be using a old computer. I do not know the specs because someone is giving it to me and I do not have it yet. I just know that the motherboard has a pci e 16x slot and that it has a cpu with intergrated graphics.
  14. Hello, I am looking for a power supply for this EVGA 3060ti variant. The TDP is 200 watts.
