There's ALOT of "kits" out there for custom cables so i figured id ask here for some more specific recommendations. I ordered white cables from CableMod awhile ago and just installed them the other night. They're nice except the people over at CableMod screwed up and didnt align the wires with the left and right connectors. I found this out the hard way after installing the combs. For instance if you were to lay the cable ( lets say the 24pin, but all of them are screwed up ) out flat from left to right. The top-left wire on the left hand connector does not go to the top-right of the right hand connector. Quite disappointing to say the least. So i want to fix it. And while im at it I had the idea to shorten alot of the cables anyway. So what would be a good kit to buy for stripping, crimping and termination?

Are these fully custom cables or just extention cables?

You can't just put cables where you want the to be. They are in specific spots on the plug for a reason.

If you swap locations, you likely *will* fry your system.

PSU is an RM850x. I installed this CableMod kit.   Alt Link.  ( Amazon no longer has white apparently. )

Edit: Found it.  "Due to the pinouts on the PSU, sometimes we have to route wires to specific pins so the proper voltage is sent to the proper pin. This is normal and we try to keep it as clean and close to the PSU end as possible."  - Thanks fellas. Wouldn't have thought to look for that.
