gpu help

kseg

Hi, so I was deciding on a gpu, and was wondering if a 1080 for 600 CAD is worth it. there aren't really many other options right now and I already bought all my other components including 3700x, 16gb 3600 ram, b450 max, 500gb ssd m.2, nvme, 2tb hdd. it would be for a 240hz monitor playing games competitively, so mostly low settings. (looks isn't very important to me, just cant look awful 1080p is perfect)

No. It's not a 600$ product , and as such , does not deliver 600$ worth of performance.

It's just a scarce product , thats it. Thats the only reason it's 600$

If that’s the cheapest you can find and you don’t want to put off the build until gpu prices normalize, and who knows when that will be, I’d say go for it

its a high price but the market demands the price
