I am building my first computer. I have everything the manual wanted plugged in, and it won't turn on. Upon turning on my power source, some light turns on (see image 1)

Ive clicked the power button and nothing happens.

If you guys need any other pictures or info let me know.

If i don't get help here i can also take it to my local repair shop. I am avoiding going there so I dont have to pay any repair fees.

Try to re-seat the power connectors into the motherboard, my guess is either your 24 pin or 8 pin are not properly seated. Also ensure you aren't using a PCIe connector to the motherboard for the top one. It should be marked.

I am not using PCIe.

8-pin connectors for the CPU shouldn't have this second end, that is normally for GPU's that require 14 or 16 pin connections. Your PSU should have a cable that is just a single 8 pin connection without anything else coming from it.

I don't have any other 8pin connectors. This is my power source manual.

Alright, maybe then it was just designed for high end boards with 2 8-pins.

Can you take a picture of the manual for the RAM and the front panel? Also ensure your power switch connector is properly in and has the + to + and - to -.

@UCYT5040, I think you need to flip you connectors. In the manual it has the words facing down. I would verify you can see which end is supposed to be positive and negative first, but this is worth a try.

Words are now down, still wont turn on.

Dang, this is frustrating and it isn't even my computer. I would just re-seat the 8-pin power connector and ensure it is pressed down all the way. It looks to me like your mobo is getting power from the 24-pin connector, the only thing I can think of was that front panel connector and maybe the CPU not getting power, but I don't even know if that is what you are describing by "won't turn on".

Have you been able to figure this out yet? If not I would recommend unhooking everything and starting all over, Lots of youtube channels have step by step build guides that go more in depth than the manual.
