Solid fans for 5 bucks a pop--good if you're planning on building in cases with not enough airflow or a system that would otherwise get too hot.

Wonder why the orange ones are more expensive than the black ones. But I got the orange ones for $23 at NCIX on sale and they are great fans for the price (delivers lots of airflow and aren't that loud imo). So Vortex fans are basically Turbines with rubber mounts?

     I have the PWM model of these fans, and I too can attest to their quality.  It should be noted that the video linked is of the PWM version of these fans, and the fans advertised on NCIX are not PWM.  They come from the same company and product line, so the differences are minimal, and at this price point, it is hard to beat.

  If you are looking for some fans, these are a no-brainer.  Very powerful, well built fans that are very very quiet.  I have an open side panel case, so I can also vouch for the quality and silence of these fans.  The price for these is ridiculous. I'm half tempted to buy the 4pack just so I have backups in case anything happens, which I doubt will because holding these in your hand, spinning the blades it exudes quality.

The Cougar Turbine fans are alot different then the Vortex fans, the Cougar Turbine fans are Cougars low budget fans, which is why you can by 4 of them for the same price as 2 of the Vortex fans. Completely different fans altogether.

These fans are good, not amazing but if you are on a budget then these are great.

I use 3 in my system, Speedfan running them down around 800rpm, Great airflow and quiet
