AIO pump making weird noises ?

Hubit

Hey there,
so I have been running a DEEP COOL Castle 240 EX AIO in my system for three months now, and noticed about 3 weeks ago, that my pump started to make weird noises. At first, I thought it would be my hard drive, since it sounded pretty similar, but it actually wasn't. I tried unplugging my pump for a short time, when booting up my computer and the noise wasn't there anymore. I already searched online for help, but didn't find anything useful.
I tried to film it. Is it normal ? Or can I do something about it, since it's pretty annoying?

I hope I am in the right spot for help 😅

Thanks in advance,

Hubit

can you post a picture of how you have your AIO oriented?

I'm not personally hearing anything, but I do have bad hearing so its not uncommon for me to not hear certain noises.

I would flip the rad upside down if you can. I'm thinking the pump is drawing in air.

Note: all AIO units have some small amount of air trapped in them. Because you can't get rid of it, your only option is to leave the air trapped at the top so it doesn't get ingested into the pump.

Also validate temps after making the change. If there's too much air trapped, it can actually prevent water from being pumped if stuck in the pump chamber.

I have flipped the Rad, but it still makes that noise. The temperatures didn't seem to have changed.

what's your pump speed?

HWMonitor is reporting a maximum of 2616 RPM.

when you flipped the rad. did it sound or fill like water was sloshing around ? aka seem to be alot of air in the loop?

what are the temps.

can you try a lower pump speed. maybe 70 % or around 2000rpm

I actually checked that and tried to shake it a bit, but I couldn't hear any water. The temps are about 45-52°C idle and 70°C max under 100% load.  (Ryzen 5 3600)

that's good.

idle temps are bit high, but doesnt matter as long as you load temp are in check. which it is. so your good there. as suggested I would try lowering your pump speed.
