xmp won't work

Hello i have a 3200mhz g.skill ram kit (F4-3200C16D-16GVKB), which only has 1 xmp profile, and my pc won't boot with it being turned on. I have everything set to auto, just as deafult, and xmp is turned on. The xmp says exactly what on the package: 3200mhz, 16-18-18-38, 1.35

 

Please help what do i need to do to run it on 3200mhz, (currently its stable at 2900)

Did you put the sticks into A2 & B2 or A1 & B1?

According to the manual, just two sticks should go into A2 and B2. Put the DIMMs in the right slots, and see if that helps.

You may have a faulty RAM stick too.  If you're still having trouble, try booting with each one.  If it boots with one but not the other, you have bad stick, and maybe a refund to mail back.

That's what happened to me. It was G Skill ram as well. Could only run them at 2133 XMP would boot but stuff would crash.
